Flexibility
The rotary dial was retrofitted and can optionally be removed without a trace, should the device be returned to its original condition from 1897.

With the rotary dial, this telephone operates using pulse dialing (IWV). For operation with modern routers using multi-frequency dialing (MFV), we recommend our digital IWV-MFV converter.
